बड़ा हुआ तो क्या हुआ
बड़ा हुआ तो क्या हुआ, जैसे पेड़ खजूर ।
पंथी को छाया नहीं, फल लागे अति दूर ।।
हिन्दी अनुवाद (अर्थ)-
कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि खजूर का पेड़ दिखने बहुत बड़ा एवं उंचा होता है लेकिन ना तो वो किसी को छाया दे पाता है और फल भी बहुत दूर ऊँचाई पर लगता है। इसी तरह अगर आप बहुत धनवान है या समृद्ध परिवार से है परन्तु किसी का भला नहीं कर पा रहे तो ऐसे बड़े होने से भी कोई फायदा नहीं है।

Meaning –
Kabir Das ji says that the date palm tree looks very big and tall, but neither it is able to give shade to anyone and the fruit also grows at a very high altitude. Similarly, if you are very rich or from a prosperous family but are unable to do good to anyone, then there is no use in growing up like this.
